I need you to come to visit my horse, but I don't have a round pen.  Is this OK?

Yes, in fact it is sometimes beneficial to work with a horse in familiar surroundings.  If you have a securely fenced arena this can also be used.  However, if the visit is for starting the horse, he must be brought to Gracey's.

My horse won't load, so we need your help.  But how do I get him to you?

If you have suitable facilities where you are, Patrick will be able to come to you to work on loading the horse.

What are the requirements for bringing a horse to you?

Your horse must be vaccinated, wormed and you must have a Horse Passport.

Are there any additional requirements for bringing a horse to you if they buck or rear?

If the problem could be being caused by pain, then your horse must have been checked by an appropriate professional:

Bucking:  Your horse's back must be checked by a Vet or suitably qualified person.
Rearing:  Your horse's back must be checked by a  Vet or suitably qualified person.  Teeth must be checked by an Equine Dentist.
